Not very useful

I will concede perhaps I’m missing the point of this app.

I will also say that I’ _very_ picky when it comes to both sourcing my news and choosing apps to help me sort through news.

That said, Gist doesn’t seem to offer any value for me. Its summaries are inadequate, the app itself is slow (presumably because it has to do the summarizing locally? I own an iPhone 5). There are no controls to manage news I’ve no interest in.

Sorry to be critical but I just don’t find this app useful.

On the positive side, its well built and clearly folks who built it know what they’re doing. Perhaps this is a milestone version that will yet meet its true potential.
